# Mrkr > Privacy-first web analytics with session replay, funnels, and revenue attribution. Cookieless by default, so no cookie banner is required, with an optional per-site cookie mode. Hosted SaaS, from $5/month. Mrkr is a privacy-first web analytics product for websites and web apps. It counts visitors without cookies by default, so sites using it do not need a cookie consent banner in the EU, UK, or California. It combines traffic analytics, session replay, funnels, cohorts, and revenue attribution in one product. Mrkr is a hosted commercial SaaS. It is proprietary and closed-source. It cannot be self-hosted and there is no public source repository. ## What makes Mrkr different - **Cookieless by default.** Visitors are counted with a salted hash that rotates every 24 hours. No cookie, no localStorage, no fingerprinting, so no consent banner is required. An optional cookie mode is available per site for teams that need cross-session identity. - **Session replay included.** Mrkr is one of very few privacy-first analytics products that has session replay at all. Plausible, Fathom, Simple Analytics, Pirsch, and Umami have no session replay at any price. Replay is included on paid plans rather than sold separately. - **Revenue attribution.** Every visit can be tied to the signup or sale it produced, attributed to the source, campaign, and landing page. - **Managed first-party proxy.** Mrkr can serve the tracker and receive events from a neutral subdomain of the customer's own domain, provisioned and certificated automatically, so adblock filter lists have no third-party hostname or path substring to match. - **AI traffic and AI crawler tracking.** Mrkr reports both visitors arriving from AI assistant answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Copilot) and which AI and search crawlers fetched the site, from a catalogue of 32 known bots. - **Honest numbers.** Bots and referrer spam are filtered by default, and traffic reports are never sampled. The single exception is the Journeys sequence report, which ranks page paths from the most recent 4,000 multi-page sessions in the range. - **Lightweight.** The tracker is a single async script, under 6 kB gzipped, with no dependencies. - **No lock-in.** No seat charges on any plan. Data export is available on request as CSV or JSON; there is no self-serve export button in the dashboard yet, and no public data API. ## What Mrkr does not do Stated plainly so comparisons are accurate: - No heatmaps. Tools like Hotjar and Microsoft Clarity are better for that. - No on-site surveys or qualitative feedback widgets. - No self-hosting and no source-available licence. - In the default cookieless mode, visitors cannot be identified across days, so multi-day attribution windows are not available unless cookie mode is enabled. - Mrkr is a newer product than Google Analytics, Matomo, Plausible, or Fathom. ## Who it is for - SaaS teams that need to connect marketing spend to signups and revenue - Ecommerce and content sites that want analytics without a consent banner - Agencies managing analytics for several client sites - Developers and small teams who find Google Analytics 4 heavy or hard to read - Any team whose consent banner is measurably costing them data ## Pricing - **Starter** — $5/month. 100K pageviews/month, then $0.05 per 1,000 additional pageviews. 3 sites. 365-day data retention. - **Pro** — $14/month. 300K pageviews/month, then $0.05 per 1,000 additional pageviews. 10 sites. 730-day data retention. - **Business** — $29/month. 1M pageviews/month, then $0.05 per 1,000 additional pageviews. unlimited sites. 1095-day data retention.
